Since upReach were founded in 2012, we’ve strongly believed in the value of working in close partnership with employers and universities to deliver our programme of support. We closely collaborate with other charities in our sector to achieve the greatest possible joint impact.
Employers typically partner with upReach to improve the socio-economic diversity of those joining their graduate programmes, or to support their wider diversity or corporate social responsibility objectives. Each partnership is bespoke, with our Partner Employers typically hosting Insight Days, providing mentors or professional work experience opportunities, and taking care to ensure their recruitment processes are fair. Encouraging applications from those from less-advantaged backgrounds is not enough: upReach also help students develop key employability skills, providing comprehensive support with their applications, enabling them to succeed on merit.

Rise University Partners
Strong partnerships with universities are crucial to our success. upReach’s comprehensive Rise Programme helps universities achieve their progression goals, increasing the proportion of students from a WP background that secure graduate jobs. Our expertise and personalised support helps boost engagement and close the employability skills gap boosting outcomes. upReach Associates are at over 50 different universities across the UK, and we work closely with WP teams, Faculties, Student Societies, Student Unions and Careers Services.

upReach's Springboard Programmes are sponsored by employers, and are designed to provide a cohort of students interested in a particular sector with the support they need to succeed. Thanks to the generosity of our Sponsors, in 2019/20, over 300 students will be supported across our Banking & Finance, Investment, Law and Technology Springboards.
Growth Catalyst Partnership
We are delighted to be supported by BofAML, our Lead Partner in Banking and Finance, who are helping upReach towards achieving our goal of supporting 2500 students per year by 2021-22. Since 2017, BofAML have also supported the 'Banking and Finance Springboard,' a programme designed to help 90 students from less-advantaged backgrounds to access career opportunities in financial services.

Lead Partner in Law
Slaughter and May exclusively sponsor the upReach Law Springboard, launched in March 2019. This programme is designed to support a cohort of 90 upReach Associates to secure career opportunities in the legal sector.
